How we estimate a bathroom renovation
An estimate is only useful if it reflects your actual room. We look at the existing construction, the condition of what we can see, the plumbing and electrical situation, and the scope you want, then price the work against those facts rather than a per-square -foot average.
Where something cannot be known until walls are open — the condition of the subfloor under an old shower pan, for example — we say so plainly and explain how it would be handled and priced if we find it. You will never be told a number is final when it is not.
