1970s primary bath reimagined
- Before
- A cultured-marble double vanity, a soffit that dropped the ceiling to seven feet, a fiberglass tub-shower with a sliding door track full of standing water, and vinyl flooring that had begun to lift near the toilet.
- What we did
- Full demolition, soffit removal to gain vertical space, a new bonded-membrane tiled shower with a linear drain, a freestanding soaking tub on a marble-look porcelain floor, a navy double vanity with quartz counters, and dedicated task lighting at each mirror.
- Result
- The room reads twice its size because the ceiling was recovered and the shower was glassed rather than curtained. Subfloor damage found under the old tub was repaired before anything new went down.
